Hand Ashtray
Just for fun, I scanned my hands using Polycam, a 3D scanning app. I then exported it and had it 3D printed it to create an ashtray that is in the shape of my hands
Arduino and P5.js Connection
Using the p5.serialport library I connected an Arduino to P5.js and experimented with how I can control LED lights using hand detection using the P5.js camera. I was going to integrate this into my Kindled Flames project but I ran into some issues with the connection and I wasn't able to get it working in time but I hope to revisit this project in the future and see how I can use it in an installation.
Paintings
These are some paintings I did when exploring painting with acryclic paint for the fist time. On the left is a painting of Jane Birkin and her partner Serge Gainsbourg. On the left I recreated The Son of Man by René Magritte, one of my favorite surrealist painters.
Psychedelic poster designs
For one of my classes we were asked to create a project based on a topic of our choosing. Exploring the 1960's psychedelic art movement, I created a series of posters inspired by the style of that era. I used photoshop to create the posters and I was really inspired by the work of artists like Wes Wilson and Victor Moscoso.
